2023 Outstanding Educator Award Nominations

At each KATE Conference, the Association seeks to recognize outstanding educators in the field of ELA. Educators nominated DO NOT have to be KATE members. You may nominate yourself. Deadline: August 31, 2023.

Award recipients receive a $180-valued scholarship to the fall KATE Conference, which also includes meals and a year membership. Travel and lodging not included.

2023 Educator Scholarship

KATE has five scholarships available to the 2023 fall annual conference. Whether it's your first time attending, your district won't pay, or you've fallen on hard financial times: these scholarships exist for you! We will announce one scholarship recipient per month, leading up to the KATE conference: June, July, August, September, October. Even if you are not selected for one month, your application will remain in the running throughout.

Scholarships cover the $180 conference fee, which includes some meals, and a year KATE membership. Travel and lodging not included.
