What is KATE?

KATE is camaraderie and connection, community out of chaos building toward a unity of a more perfect future for our students, selves, and state.

KATE is a vacation built from vocation, a respite found in the respected expertise of retirees, those with new degrees, and authors with prolific pedigrees.

KATE is finding the book you never knew you needed, the fast friend in the far flung reaches of our flat frontier.

KATE is both the shining new and what is sound and true, it is red and it is blue.

KATE is everything we want but never got from those above, those who offer “PD”--ayyy with finger guns and an HR-hug.

KATE is something that we get to do.

But, KATE is nothing
